It's possible I'm suffering from a little post-race letdown. It's also possible I was a little sick last week. And tired. Very, very tired. I'm still feeling kind of lethargic, so I'm laying low, basking in my accomplishment, and stretching. A lot.
I also spent most of last week trying to figure out how many days in a row I could wear my race shirt in public.
The answer is three, and only because I spent those three days sitting quietly on my couch, and not actually working up a sweat. Aside: the t-shirt has honu on it. I love them.
It's possible that one of the walkstars anticipated this questionable post-marathon fashion choice, because this came in the mail yesterday.
Isn't it lovely? Now I don't have to worry about trying to coordinate outfits around my medal or the t-shirt. Which is good, because they didn't match well with last week's job interview attire. But the necklace will go perfectly.
When is it time for a planned break?

Love the necklace - what a great way to commemorate your race!
ReplyDeleteThe necklace is such a great idea, and designed by an athlete, which is also pretty cool.
